Aeolian Islands
The Aeolian Islands, one of the Mediterranean’s most well-known and world famous paradises, can be easily visited from Taormina by going to the port of Milazzo (65 km away along the A 19) and taking the hydrofoil which will bring you there in about half an hour.

The archipelago includes seven islands that are all of great interest for their volcanic character, unspoilt nature, beauty, colours and deep blue transparent sea, and which are all to some extent very different one from another.

Lipari, the “capital” with its shops and archaeological museum, chic Panarea, Vulcano with its open air natural spas, Salina, as temperate and lush as the Tuscan hills, Stromboli with its breathtaking volcano and Alicudi and Filicudi, real paradises for nature-lovers.
